Keep getting calls from this number, and apparently so have some of my family. I don't know how they got this information or what the angle is, but it has been relatively persistent and very annoying. Man with a thick accent leaving voice messages and threatening me and my family being behind bars, losing my job, etc. I see zero base for this argument at all.

Better Business Bureau has issued a national alert about phony debt collectors that are calling consumers nationwide and claiming that they have defaulted on a payday loan and will be arrested if they don’t pay immediately.
Claiming to be lawyers, the scammers say they are with the “Financial Accountability Association” or the “Federal Legislation of Unsecured Loans” and often have the victim’s Social Security, old bank account numbers or driver’s license numbers as well as home addresses, employer information and even the names of personal friends and professional references.
My sister-in-law and wife have also gotten calls from this psycho. He claimed to be some sort of federal agent. I plan on contacting my state's attorney general.
I got several phone calls from this number today. I hung up on her the first time, next time I told her not to call me back or I would report her. She called again and I said "f you" and hung up on her. The next time she called I was in my car so I turned the radio up full blast and put the phone to the speaker!!!! Right after those calls I received a call from the num ber 052-986-647? May be the same place. Then they kept calling and hanging up before I could answer. The last time they called "he" left a message on my voicemail threatening me. I will be reporting them!!!
I am still getting phone calls but now they are using 052-986-647 as their phone number. I submitted a complaint to the do not call registry but I don't think it is doing any good. Anybody got any other suggestions on how to deal with this?
