I answered this call. The caller ID showed "American Centers". The recording talked about getting an extended warranty on my car. I tried to get to a salesperson but despite going through the prompts, I was eventually disconnected.
I do warranty consulting in Washington State and happen to know that if they or there underwriter are not specifically approved in this state, the fine could be up to $25,000 per contract sold!
When I called back, the message now talked about "Mortgage Services". They have called me many times before and continue to call despite my repeatedly asking them to remove me from there list.
I've complained to Washington State but they are useless in this and everything else.
I'd like to know who these guys are so I can really go after them.
called at 6:00p.m. we did not answer, they did not leave a message. I called the # back, and the recording was talking about mortgage...I just got this phone # today, and am already receiving annoyance calls!
This is getting ridiculous. My phone call was ostensibly about extending the warranty on my car. I decided to answer the phone, and clicked on the number designated for folks who want to talk to them. Then told the phone person I wanted my name taken off the list - he took my phone number and when I asked for his name he hung up on me.
Two minutes later, another call from the SAME COMPANY- different person. I told him I wanted to be taken off the list and to talk with the CEO. He doesn't know who that is #@#@@ !! and there are only 2 supervisors on duty both of whom a busy - but someone will call me back in 10-15 minutes. It's been an hour - have they called you ... cuz they sure haven't called me!! How can we get these guys??
