Save the money on the lawyer. These are foreign crooks trying to steal money.
IRS Scam:
The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge? They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

Some idiot with a foreign accent called and left a voicemail on my cellular phone while I was working. He had a thick accent, but he sounded like he was very high on something. He threatened me and said he is with the Department of Legal Affairs for the IRS, apparently. I keep my taxes paid in full. It was hilarious because the guy sounded like he had been smoking some green, leafy substance for a few hours before he called. Just a scammer, jammer too lazy and stupid to work for a living.
you got off better than me when i called back to tell them i was my husbands tax attorney,,,and i needed all the information to give to my contact in the IRS he told me to go "F" myself,,,now is that any way for our federal government agents to speak to its citizens, i say dripping with sarcasm
its a scam,,,i put the number out on facebook for all my friends to blow up his phone,,,he told me to go "F" myself,,,the man has no conscience and he doesnt know where i live from my phone number so i just blocked the call and i will block them until they stop calling
Yes some foreign guy just called me saying that I have a legal matter and they have a warrant for my arrest. After I heard that I just hung the phone up and blocked his number and then googled to see what this number was about. Glad I did and I see the comments that basically the same guys calling repeating the same information. I have no reason to have a warrant for my arrest so I know it was some type of schem and scam I don't owe any Taxes. And everyone knows that if it's a lot for your arrest their reach you by mail first. Someone Needs to get the scammers.
