I got a call from this gentleman who called himself Officer Eric Kloster. He told me to call this number immediately. It was the "hotline to his division." He spoke with a thick accent and told me that if I did not return the call--or have my lawyer return the call--he could only wish me good luck with the consequences.
Got a phone call from this number claiming that I intentionally cheated on my taxes the past 5 years. And then I had 30 minutes to surrender to the cops and there was a warrant for my arrest.
Gave me until 1PM and now it's past that and no cop has shown up. Full of [***].
I knew it when the caller ID said it was from New York.
Almost gave me a heart attack and I'm 29. I can't afford to be deported or arrested. I'm married.
[***]. officer [***]. The prick who left a voicemail sounded like Australian and the prick I talked to sounded like he was from India.
Kept telling me to get a lawyer and when I said it was vogus he said to enjoy a glass of beer and enjoy life and hung up on me.
Prick just called me. Indo/Pak accent. Trying to disguise it too. Threatening me with arrest. What a fool. What I don't see is how these scammers intend to make money. Just put them on ignore and you are done.
By the way, these scammers are calling by proxy. They are NOT calling from the US.
