When answered the phone, caller was a female who spoke in a foreign accent. Wanted to speak with my husband, but would not ID herself or the company they represented.
These scumbags said called with information I requested for a brace completely covered by Medicare. No cost to me. With garbage like this causing Medicare Fraud it's no wonder it's going broke. STOP MEDICARE FRAUD !!!!!!
Caller was male, heavy Indian or Middle Eastern Accent. Was able to engage in conversation...stated he was from Medicare and that they were working to provide Medicare recipients with a cell phone. I (as a retired hospice nurse and knowledgeable of Medicare programs) saw through the BS in his story, and continued the query as long as possible. He finally hung up when I got him to say he was a Medicare employee. I was successful in reporting this bovine refuse artist to Medicare and the Office of the Inspector General. Who stated they WILL investigate! Yea!
