I received a call on my cell phone while I was at work.  As is my general practice, if I don't recognize the number, or if the caller ID is blocked, I do not answer.  The call went to voice mail.  It was about the blood pressure medicine.

I received 2 phone calls to my cell phone this morning from this number.  I did not answer, but call ID said it was from Jamaica, NY.  When I called back the recording said the number was not in service.  I am on the no-call-list on my home and cell phones, but it does not do any good because I get unwanted calls all the time.

The DNC only stops honest business's from calling, it is not a call blocker and can not stop the criminals from calling you! Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
