Got a call from this number at 3:16 PM. Picked it up during 2nd ring but they hung up. Since I have never been in arrears with bills, I know it's a scam. I have a sheet of paper ready with a phony soc. sec., credit card, & bank. account numbers, as well as a phony name & address. I'll feed those suckers all the information and even tell them When they ask for money, I'll tell them in the most accomodating but frightened voice possible that I'll be sending a bank check by certified mail. Right after that: a phone call to the local FBI office.
Same people from Applied Bank Card. They will call you non-stop everyday even on Sunday. These dirt bags do not care. Just don't answer any calls from them. They will go away when they don't get to talk to anyone.
This is Applied Bank. They, like most unscrupulous entities, use numerous phone numbers and call outside the times, locations and number of times that the law allows.
I have had the pleasure of working with a NY attorney who actually sues companies like this who think we (as consumers) aren't smart enough to know our rights.
Keep a call log from these losers. Put it in writing - especially if they are putting your job at risk!
Then take your information to a credit attorney and get your money back from these clowns.
