same here, claiming they are a major credit card company concerning your account.  I've called the actual card phone number and am dealing with them.

They called me at about 8:00am today.

I have NO credit cards so it must be a scam or an auto dial for a marketer.

My turn...they claimed to be a collection agency for American Exp Blue and I has an active card since 2006.  They needed to verify who I was.  I asked them who they were and I was allegedly connected to Amex Fraud dept.  Then I was told this was a bad call and "Amex" told the operator to stop calling me I was not their guy...now what?

they are real shady - i just called back... they wanted my ssn or my card number... just gave them a fake name... how can one report them to the FBI or something?

Called me several times, and it comes back to a cell phone in NY...Brooklyn...I don't know anyone in Brooklyn. They never left a message. I see some people are saying its AMEX related. I have a AMEX card, but don't deal with them unless I call them...or online to prevent fraud.
