Phisshing scammers getting my # from craigslist. & Text my cell phone, their pay pal scams. The Most recent #s are 718-635-0857. 646-504-5851. 405-633-0838.
Pay pal phishing scams & Job offer scams = I believe they look up Resumes on the WWW. From there they "Text" your cell phone, with offers of work from home. To be paid Bi-Weekly" Stating "I need an assistant, to pick up mail, Buy Gifts, Pay Bills, all from the comfort of your own home........ have had literally hundreds thru the years & am looking for a place to report this too, That Wants the #s.. Thank you
I listed my car on Craigslist and got a text almost immediately stating he wanted to buy the car through Paypal even though the ad said 'cash only'. He used the usual 'I am on a ship at sea' story. When I informed him that the internet indicated he was a scammer, I never heard another word. If I had the time, I would have strung him along.
