I am on the do not call list and still gets call from this number.

Many posters in 800notes claim the Federal Do Not Call List (DNCL) is not working for them.  We constantly attempt to find a way to explain what the DNCL really does, at a level these posters can understand.

Perhaps this table will help.

The DNCL is NOT a call blocker!

Why doesn't the DNCL stop the other calls?
Charities, political calls, and non-sales calls are exempt. "Business relationships" may be exempt. Criminals do not obey the laws, and happily ignore the DNCL.
Want to stop unwanted calls without depending on somebody else to do it for you?
Obtain a call blocker.  Google is your friend.
