I wasn't thinking and answered it. Caller said "yes, just confirming someone will be home to receive documents for a Cynthia ***** " (my real last name which I blanked out here, he had correct)
I said "there's no one here by that name" and he immediately and rudely hung up
I'm presuming this was a debt collector looking for this person, just going through the phonebook for our last name.
They called again from that number, with a blank caller-ID, asking for the same person (not anyone here). I've already told them numerous times they have the wrong number and to leave us alone. What is the point of this?
How does one get rid of these people? THey keep calling and I am not answering the phone call. How do you report them?
