Just as everyone else above stated-rude caller. Has called several times a day, won't take us off the call list. When I tell them not to call we are on the do not call they mumble rude things and hang up but call right back. Star Loan Network is who they say they are. Totally scummy. Have filed complaint with Do Not Call registry and trying to block them.
These guys had been calling my house throughout the day. I got home around 2:30pm and had about 12 calls.
When the guy called he was asking for someone else who does not live at my residence. When I told him that no one by that name lived here he hung up on me. While I was in midsentence to tell him to get me office call list he hung up. So I called him back to tell him not to be rude and to take off my phone number off the list. And I told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor. He told me that his supervisors have been fing busy for the past couple hours and no one could talk to me. I told him that is no way to talk to a customer. And I told him to stop acting like an a hole. I hung up on him. Then immediately he called me back and called me a fing [***]. I had talk to a supervisor and told them to take my phone off the call list. They said they would. Then that guy add called me some names. So then I called back to speak with a supervisor and they told me that they would take care of it. Then the guy kept on calling me and calling me playing games. I called back and it sounded as though he called three-way between me and another lady. I overheard her say to him to take her off the call list. And to stop harassing her. Then I told her where I was from and I was going to the same thing she was. I even told her the names he called me. He was listening to the conversation then he finally said okay f*** me then. You effing [***]. So I decided to Google their phone number and this is the website I came across. I also called my phone company and they told me to block their number. I then called 411 to see where the number came from, and the phone number is not registered. So when I spoke with one of the supervisors the last time I dealt with them, they asked me for my name my age and my email address. So at that point I sought out advice from a family member who is a officer. and they advised me to make a report to the local PD. Which I did. So now I'm just hoping they will leave me alone and nothing comes of this. And there was a comment earlier of someone walking their phone number and they called from a different phone number. If that happens I was advised to record the conversation. That way if a lawsuit happens I have evidence of the harassment.
If you have purchased a domain recently make sure you are kept "private" or spammers will run a report on "whois" at internic [http://www.internic.net/] and pull down all your information, name, phone numbe,r address and lots of private info. People may not realize how exposed they are with a web site registered in their name even if nothing on the web site is associated with them personally. The registration info is a public record and very easy for hackers and others to get your info. Make sure you have placed this information on a "private" setting.
This number keeps calling me. I don't recognize it and so I let it go to voicemail as I don't give out my phone number to people I don't know OR businesses unless absolutely required. They never leave a message. Last call I put them on speakerphone but did not answer. If they keep it up I will selectively forward their call to an appropriate agency and let them deal with these people. I will update should I learn anything more about this company or who/what they are representing. The calls come from 718-717-2242
