I hate these calls. You don't answer they keep calling back. What is the point of the do not call list. I think I get more calls since I have been on it.
I called ISI at 800-650-2712 and told their customer service rep that the telemarketing company that they contracted is calling numbers on the DNC registry (me included) and that people are venting online about ISI, and that it's illegal for the telemarketers to be calling us. She said "yes, they are a horrible company", and she promised she'd add my numbers to their do-not-call database. Sounds like they're stuck with a contract - she sounded very frustrated. I wished her good luck dealing with them, and she gave a little laugh as if they've tried already. I don't fault ISI for anything but being naive when they contracted the telemarketing company. I'll post here again if I receive more calls from the telemarketers to either number I gave ISI today.
I have been receiving this number for 3 days now from various times during the day. This call is on my business line and they ask if my business has a alarm company, which it does... or I have qualified for a auto loan, which I have not applied for... I have a claim on my mortgage insurance, which i Do not because I lease a condo, my credit card limit has been increased and they need verifying information, I have 3 American Express cards and never use VISA or MasterCard. Amazing that in all these instances they are asking for social security numbers. I said to the person, if you know so much about me then you should already have that information. Suddenly when i say that.... the line goes dead. It is annoying at best but I think it is somewhat comical how the same number appears but different scenarios are presented with each call. Confront them and they will stop calling
