Lately been getting these sort of calls in groups or 3 or 4 numbers...all calling and ringing the phone a couple of times...a pause, then same again from another number...all in less than a single minute.
He just call me and said he is calling from Windows Operating System and my computer is reporting errors. When I hung up he called me again from 1-510-943-3040. I reported these numbers to Canadian Authority. He has an Indian accent.
Received a call from them saying they were calling about windows. I told him I was very excited as it had been sometime since someone tried to scam me on the phone. He then began swearing. lol.
Caller with a heavy accent wanted to notify me of harmful malware on my computer. Was calling from "Windows" and he received a report last night of error messages being sent from our computer to Windows. Called from 718-788-9020. Hung up and called back twice. Refused to provide a call back number stating that no one would know about "your reports"
