Who called from 7188229084

Yes unfortunately once you give out your number for any business you are releasing your number to others who will use it to solicit or scam you.  In this case, the people you did business with did sell or release your number or possibly information to other telemarkers.  Play a trick on them...tell them it is a wrong number, this is a business number or tell them something that will eventually have them stop...if not, just ignore their calls even though this doesn't make them stop....I have fun sometimes with these people because I play tricks back on them....

If you get a call from these scammers do this:

1. Tell the scammer to hold for one second.

2. Make sure your computer is up and running with it's speaker volume up loud enough to be heard by the caller over the speaker phone.

3. Go to this website: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/ndsound

4. When the sound board is up, hit the "Hello" button first.

5. The fun begins.

P.S., for even more fun have your webcam handy and post the video to youtube and title the video "phone call from 718-822-9084". lolzzz

Got a call from this number 11/19/2013, at 3:44 pm. Says New York on the caller ID.  It was a person. I just hung up as soon as they started their pitch.

You let them near your computer - are you nuts?!

I got a call from this number but didn't answer.  Interesting that it is from someone claiming to be from Microsoft because I've gotten the same call only from different phone numbers.
