Returned the call (knowing it is B.S.) they were informing me that my 2012 federal taxes were incorrect. I was told I owe$4782. and transferred me to the "USTreasury" and it was a recorded call with an officer on the line. Wanted me to pay and had to follow the instructions . Stay on the line drive to cvs when your in the parking lot let me know (so I played along had to go there anyways), until he wanted me to go inside with my phone still on so he can listen and I should buy 4 iTunes gift cards worth 500 each. That's when I "accidentally" hung up on him. They were trying to call back under 911 number. I did go to the police and they confirmed its a scam and there is no warrant for my arrest. Lol.
I had a call on my cell phone this morning from a Shawn Willams @ 718-873-9062, who left a message.
"He stated that he was from "Dept. of Legal Affairs" and that I had an enforcement action against my name. Left his number 2 times. If you can't call back then have your attorney do so. Could lead into a legal mess for you. looking forward to speak to you and God Bless."
All it says on y phone is that it is from New York.
recieved the same call from the so called us treasury department saying that legal action will be taken against me, and they will be coming to my job to arrest me. H also stated that i was sent out a notice from the irs and it was returned with no response from me.
