Who called from 7188783482

Asked my office hours…had lots of loud keyboard typing in the background and phone sounded scratchy! I Could hear my voice echoing. When I asked how I could help them and what company was calling they hung up disconnected the call.  This number had called yesterday at 6:18pm (after hours) and got the automated attendant so they called again today.

8:02 AM Caller ID  showed New York Area.  Fellow called my Alberta company cell. Likely Chinese asked if this was my------ Oilfield Company. I said yes, then he asked "when you happen" I said what do you mean when do I happen...after 3rd try I figured out he was saying.... when do you open. At which point I asked who the hell this was...He mumbled something so I asked again and he hung up.
8:14 AM Caller ID showed New York and same 718-878-3482. I was ready for them as I was already reading 800notes.and pleasantly answered with "Good Morning, ------- Oilfield Company" Long pause on other end and Philippine or Chinese gal asked if this was  ------Oilfield Company..I said yes it is, how may I help you...She asked what days we were open. I pleasantly responded 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.. She said Thank you and I felt like she was about to hang up at that point.. I then asked her if there was anything else I could help her with...long pause...She asked if we accept any type of Credit Cards. I said No and she said THANKS AND HUNG UP....Likely a credit card scam.

I answered and a female with some Asian accent asked our company name, which is listed on the net with our phone number anyway, so I acknowledged our company name and the line went dead.

Just received a call from this number asking to confirm our company name.  After I gave it, they hung up immediately, which at minimum is very rude.

Got a call a few minutes ago (I'm in Ottawa, ON). Only heard loud static background, I said hello and no answer. Hung up 20 seconds later.
On my spam filter list it goes. Losers!
