Asked my office hours...it was very loud in the background and phone sounded scratchy! When I asked who was calling they hung up immediately?? Very weird
"Michael" said he was from Yellow Pages and asked me what my business hours are. I promptly told him this was not like my a normal Yellow Pages call and he hung up. Very noisy background noise with others obviously speaking on phones.
Called at 4:45 am. Quebec Canada.No response.Someone there and the reception was bad.Hung-up after 14 seconds.Was with the # 1 in front of the area code.Blocked it!!!They/he/she probably was aiming the company cause that's what i was at/nightshift.The area code is for new york area.It's maybe someone masking their REAL number with this one! It looks shady/fishy.Maybe someone's ex dialing drunk...It could be anything!
Someone called from this number. LOTS of noise in the background. Asked what the business hours are. I said where are you calling from. He said directory update. I said I'm not comfortable giving out that information to just anyone and hung up.
Asked for our hours.
It seemed sketchy from the start so I asked if they had an order to pick up they said "Yes."
I said it depends on when someone is here and asked them when they would like to pick it up. They said "Okay." and hung up.
Barely intelligible, lots of background noise.
Asking for rudimentary info on business name, hours, etc.
Hangs up if they encounter and resistance/questioning.
Called my Calgary number at 9:11am. Hung-up when I asked basic questions about what he needed/was looking for.
Called my Vancouver number at 9:18am. Hung-up before I could answer his call.
Thankfully, I use a cloud-based PBX hosting service that gives me the opportunity to block specific callers.
