I just found a way of getting rid of these pests:
First you must have call forwarding selective on your phone, This is when you can forward selected numbers to any other number.
Now, activate the call forwarding SELECTIVE feature and add one of Babytobe.com's number as the forwarded TO number. Then it will allow you to create a list of numbers to forward to them. Add all their numbers.
When they call you, they will call THEMSELVES. Clever huh?
I got a call from 781-989-2507 and since i didn't know the business that was on it (AGN NETWORK) I didn't answer the phnoe and they didn't leave a message. Can't something be done for all the calls they make on all the other lines they have? Jess Adams
They are calling me like 10 times a day!! How did they get my personal information and when I call back to ask them to take me off of their list, they know who I am when I call even before I give them my name. How can we get these to stop?
I have not recieved calls from the "2507" but have recieved from 1-718-989-2510 and they have the same characteristics, (calls 4 times a day, nobody there) was wondering if they are tied with babytobe place.
Also my phone company said they could not block, havent tried the "selective call forwarding" yet. Does anyone have any other advice as to how to make the calls stop? Very aggrevating. If i manage to get further info..... i will post.
I just got off the phone with the rude old lady from this same company, the number came up as unknown today, but yesterday I picked up the call from 718-989-2507 and someone breathed heavily and then hung up after I said hello a couple of times.
I was creeped out last night, meant to look up the number and forgot, then this morning the rude old lady called and just rubbed me the wrong way from the start. It's babytobee.com not babytobe.com - there are free offers to register for, she said she was confirming my information I had registered with.
I had registered with them, I think... (or a site a lot like theirs, but I recognized their sitename). It seemed very suspicious and redundant to give her my info on the phone, the way she approached it she said, and confirming your last name, it is/?? Instead of spelling it out to me, she wanted me to complete her sentence. So then my hackles were raised, I told her not to waste my time, that if I already gave them that info why would she need to call me, she said, b/c in the past the manufacturers have found they're sending stuff to the wrong address. (hmm ya right)
A little verbal sparring, my hackles up, and it felt like it was an annoying telemarketing call. I told her I was busy, her call had interrupted me - she was talking so slow and was so annoying - she must be the one who does all the hangup calls, some serious mental problems - she said, oh well it will take 8 minutes, I will be telling you all the stuff you will be getting. So what's this all about, I got curious and said, Ok get on with it, but hurry and don't waste my time - and she's like, you know I don't like the way you're treating me, I will have to end this call...
Hasn't this rude old scamster any customer service skills at all? She rubbed me the wrong way from the start and I was suspicious and annoyed, not to mention pregnant and grumpy. But I did remember registering so I was going to let her go ahead if she would just get on with it. But if this is legit, which it doesn't seem to be, this annoying telesoliciting is just ruining whatever good faith they may have had.
