Just got a call looking for an employee. Saying it was urgent and an emergency. He states his name is Officer Jim Parker,had such a heavy accent I had to have him spell his name. Really ?
These idiots constantly called me about a VERY old debt that I am refusing to pay. Finally, I decided to beat them at the their own game. When I saw the number calling I would turn on my music REALLY loud and answer the phone, "YEAH!!!! WHO THIS?!?!?" They asked me if I am who they are looking for and I tell them yes. So they go into the whole spiel about being an "investigator" ...yadda, yadda, yadda. So I start talking (shouting is more like it) to people on my end. I say things like, "Hey!!!! Get him off the coffee table before he breaks it!!! How much Tequila are you planning on putting in the punch? Where is you shirt, girl? Cover up your titties!" And then I come back to the phone and say, "Hey buddy, could you hurry this up...,my party is getting out of hand here." Needless to say, I haven't heard back from them. Listen, don't let a**holes get you angry. All the phones now come with an ignore prompt. You never have to know that they are calling after the initial call. Good luck guys.
I see the posts here are from 2013. Well it is 2015 now and these pranks continue. I got four calls from caller id unknown and then they left a voice mail with phone number 347-418-0429 saying that I have a legal affidavit filed against me and that they will arrest me if I do not act by calling back. Thick Indian accent. Gave name as Johnny Marshall. Something told me this cant be true, so I searched on google and found these posts. Thanks everyone for sharing your experience so I don't have to waste time calling them back.
