Standley entered into an Order Approving Conditional Admission of Misconduct and Imposing Sanctions Pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.22 with the Sumpreme Court, State of Colorado. The Presiding Disciplinary Judge, having reviewed the case file and the stipulation, and being fully advised of the issues presented, orders the following:
James J. Standley, Attorney Registration No. 18427, is suspended from the practice of law for a period of sixty days, all stayed upon the successful completion of a two-year period of probation, subject to conditions. The effective date of the probation is December 8, 2008.

Keep receiving calls from Standley and Associates advising to call back. When I have actually spoken to an Aaron Barr he claims he is with the attorney's office and is attempting to collect a debt. They never send out any mail to prove clients owe and when you mention that, he states that he has sent letters to collect. Filing with BBB. He will also try to contact others and harass them as well.
I got a call from a Standley and Associates on 4/9/13, they claimed a person by the name of Tierra said she lived at my address and gave them my phone number and name. It was a 720 251 2587 number, I was alittle confused at first until I googled them and it took me here.. Completely bogus
