I had choice home warranty for one year now it is time to renew and I spoke with the so called manager Elliot Morgan who got upset because the information he quoted to me about renewing was not to my satisfaction so I told him I would like to shop around before making a decision. Elliot Morgan called me back and left a nasty vm stating that I will not receive the discount that he was offering and that I can shop around all I want I would never get a better deal than what he was providing. Elliot also stated that he would notes on my account in case I tried to call back and get the discounts stating I am no longer eligible for discounts and would have to pay 450.00 if wanted to continue my service with them. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL GUESS WHAT ELLIOT? I found a great company with great discounts that saved me a great deal of money so when my services expire with Choice Home Warranty in December.....GUESS WHO DOES NOT CARE??? ELLIOT MORGAN/MANAGER YOUR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE PUSHED ME RIGHT INTO YOUR COMPETITORS HANDS...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those are not real warranties; they are actually prepaid service plans.
Most homeowners are better off putting the "premiums" into a seperate bank account to draw upon if there is a real need for repairs or replacements that are not covered by standard homeowner's policies.
"Home Warranty" services are nothing but a rip off. They underpay the contractors they hire to do the work, it takes hours or days to get the work approved, and if it exceeds a certain amount, they simply refund your money and leave you holding the bag on an expensive repair.

Since you actually did business with this company, I was wondering if you could look through policy and/or other paperwork to try and locate an address or phone number for "Choice Home Warranty". Also any name other than your agent or manager that might appear somewhere, probably in the very fine print. If you'll forward whatever you find, I'll do whatever it takes to contact the Company HHQ (if one exists). At the very least, with the Company information I'll be able to file an FCC complaint and a report with the BBB. Thanking you in advance for your help.

It sounds like there're at least a few people whot've left negative msg's here, that actually entered into a contract with Choice Home Warranty. I would find it very helpful if someone would go over the paperwork the company provided, looking for names, addresses, phone numbers, web sites, etc. Particularly anything associated with the company's HHQ or President. But at this point any information would be appreciated. I, like many feel my privacy has been invaded by whom ever's making these phone calls. And I feel certain the FCC has a rule, if not many forbidding ones telephone to be used as a tool of harassment. If you have useful information regarding this situation please reply to this message ASAP!
