Got the same call. They asked to speak with the man or woman of the house. I asked who they were with and they mentioned something about pro-life. I hung up. I am pro-life, but I do not donate money or listen to questionnaire calls. My husband is a Disabled Veteran and I have to focus on helping him first.
Called and hanged up, no message, 6:54pm 12 Aug 14. next step FCC form 1088b online might slow these scammer down if everyone starts filing them, otherwise these phone scammers can kiss my A$$.
The phone companies will do nothing to stop the robo calls. They want the income from all the robo call companies. The no call list is a joke. The government does nothing. Here is a one time low cost way to beat robo calls.
I have defeated >80% of harassment robo calls including "CARD SVC". I went on-line to Amazon and purchased an in line "CPR CALL BLOCKER"! It has an inventory of up to 1200 numbers in a call blocker list. You must be carful in setting up the list or you will get unexpected blockages of your incoming valid calls. So far I have blocked area codes 212, 305, 312, 347, 360, 516, 518, 740, and 773 because I have no family in those area codes. You must be careful not to block area codes of friends and relatives. I have also blocked many selected individual harassing numbers in my local area code. Only use full 10 digit numbers on the blocking list or you will have problems.
There are many other brands of call blockers than the one i have described. Choose one and BLOCK THOSE HARASSMENT CALLS!!!!!
It is great fun watching my call blocker light up and then hang up on robo callers when the caller ID matches my blocking list!!! I especially like it when the call blocker hangs up on CARD SERVICES!!! Take back your telephone from the robo callers!!!!
Well folks I know that at the start I would file a compliant now after the third hang up call from this number filed a complaint with the FCC form 1088b, might check into these call blockers soon, thanks for the info.
