Got the same call. They asked to speak with the man or woman of the house. I asked who they were with and they mentioned something about pro-life. I hung up. I am pro-life, but I do not donate money or listen to questionnaire calls. My husband is a Disabled Veteran and I have to focus on helping him first.
* The phone number you gave is a VOIP number. VOIP = computer driven Voice Over Internet Provider.
* The scammers do not need access to the DNC list ... they now use "war dialer" programs in their computers, to rapidly dial computer-generated numbers.
* Scammers need not buy numbers from political parties (see above reason)
* DO NOT change your phone number! Your "new" number is somebody else's "old" number, and may be on even more scammers' lists.
* How can you sue a party if you do not know who/where they are, or if they are in India or Pakistan?
Probably time to buy a call blocker device, app, or phone.
Google "call blocker" to see the various types, and find one that best meets your needs.

Wow, they've been calling for days and that's the conversation I have with them? Hopefully they will take my number off their calling list now. If not, I'll block them.
