My daughter was so excited to be selling her wedding dress and then she showed me the check. We are forwarding all material to the FBI check fraud division. His phone number comes up as a land line in Ashley Ohio and GPS shows his address.
Received two texts from this number around 5am as a response to a craigslist ad for a wedding dress I'm selling - strange for someone "local" to text that early. (1st flag!). The wording seemed weird, as if translated - "offering it last" (2nd flag!). Came on here and found the number before I replied (It's the private investigator in me). Thank you for putting the information on here! I replied, "So sorry, but your number is reported as fraudulent online. You will have to inquire elsewhere." This person must thing us gals are easy targets - they're in for a surprise!
Thanks again everybody! Be cautious! There are bad people out there!
OMG He is sending me text now, and has been for the past three days about my ad on Craigslist for the same thing. I did tell him it was cash only he replied OK, but this morning I received several text saying that the check is in the mail. Also to send "extra" and dress to a different address. What are people thinking ?
Just received a message from same phone number this morning but he is going by the name Scott Nance. Glad I checked on here first and didn't give out my information.
