Robo call for energy company. Calls multiple times over multiple days. Wants to switch from current provider Duke Energy...which is NOT our current provider.
I receive multiple calls from this number each day - messages. I called Duke at 1-800-544-6900, but just get multiple menus and never a real person. I called the public utilities commission at 1-800-686-7826 and told them the problem. They said to call Duke at 513-287-1900 and I would get a person. I did and told them I wanted to be on the 'do not contact list for telemarketers' trying to get me to switch suppliers.
They said they would do that, although they may get my number from others sources.
You can also call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357.
I also have Verizon and can block numbers for free. Check your phone supplier to see if you can do this.
I get calls from this number on a regular basis. I stayed on the line today only to hear the recording three times on if I wanted to be placed on the do not call list, then they hung up.Could not find out who it was from or what they want.
