This number just called my dads phone, all I know is we will never be answering a number we don't know anymore since these people are only after steeling our money or identity!! Do not answer this number or give them information!
I got several calls from this number through out the day and finally I answered because I'm getting sick of my phone ringing off the hook they said I was entered into a sweepstake but I had to buy 3 magazines. When I was redirected to a superviser he was rather rude and said I had to buy the magazines when I asked him to remove my number he hung up on me. Do not answer this number!!!
Our son received a call from this number asking his name and whether or not he had a Visa Mastercard. They also asked him if the address they had was our home address and he told them yes. They asked him again if he owned a Visa Mastercard, and he told them that no he didn't, but that maybe his parents did. Then they hung up on him. I explained to our son that people like this can steal your identity and ruin your credit. Never answer a call that is unfamiliar. Never give anyone private information. Our son also put his cell phone number on a questionaire on the internet, which is how they got the number, most likely. Again, never give out private information! Now, I have to spend time calling the Equifax Consumer Fraud Divisions, and hope our son's credit is not ruined.
