Every time I have reported a spam caller I have seen an increase in spam calls for a week or two after. I think there are those crooks that track that crap and call even more.
When I asked to be removed from their calling list I was very rudely informed to stop pressing 1 or I would continue to receive the calls. I have been receiving these calls for months and never pressed 1 before. What a [***]!
Received a call from this number, and it was a solicitation. I am on the do not call list. These people need to stop and be held accountable for breaking the law.
I got a call from 740-733-8044 to my cell phone. The prerecorded message (stating her name was Kelly) told me that due to the recent stimulus and changes in federal law I was now eligible to lower my credit card rate. The message instructed me to press 1 to speak to an agent or press 2 to be removed. I pressed 1 solely because I wanted more information on this company that is breaking the law, but the system immediately hung up on me. It sounds like a rework of the "Account Services" scam.
