Call from this number said they are from AEP Energy, a "sister" company of AEP Ohio. I called the number back, spoke to someone who confirmed it. Not sure if it is lagit or not, calling AEP to find out.
This person calls and presents herself as calling from AEP, yet it's a cell phone number. AEP doesn't call it's customers using cell phone numbers. We are absolutely SICK of these phone calls. Every single day.
Says he is from AEP and could I find a bill and read my account number. Wouldn't he have known this? Says something about PIP savings enclosed in my last bill that could save money since I'm not on government assistance. Hmmmm not going to answer when he calls back
Caller ID said Cellular Call and they identified themselves as AEP Power. The number on caller ID did not match who they identified themselves and if they were in business that should not have happened. It was a robo call using voice recognition that would only respond to the answer that it expected. a byproduct of the utility deregulation in Ohio.
