Call from this number said they are from AEP Energy, a "sister" company of AEP Ohio. I called the number back, spoke to someone who confirmed it. Not sure if it is lagit or not, calling AEP to find out.
got the phone call from 7407394979, after a long pause a recording said goodbye. how annoying. dont know if they were checking to see if I was home or not,
Caller ID is from Pataskala Ohio..740-739-4979. I have picked up on this one before considering I live about 20 minutes from Pataskala and thought it might be someone I knew offhand. I seem to recall it was some telemarketer "from" AEP trying to get you to buy a guarantee price hold. Told them not interested. Just rec'd a call and did not pick up remembering the previous call. Have made note of the number and will call AEP to question this.
Caller ID also said Pataskala, Ohio. Caller (man) said he was with AEP and wanted to know if we got a card with our recent electric bill for saving 10%. I reported this to AEP and they are not doing this. Do not answer this call. It is a scammer!
