BEWARE this number is associated with a "mystery shopper" scam. They will call from one number and text from this number. Don Parker is the fake name. He will text like crazy trying to get you to cash money orders and send a large sum of money via Western Union to a shopper in the Philipines. DON'T DO IT.
Received FEDEX Check today for $2687. No instructions no nothing just the check. Text back the person communicating by the above phone # who kept instructing me to immediately deposit the check into my account and keep $500 for myself and to send the rest of the funds to the LINK SHARE CONSULTANT wrap up team.
Every text I sent was immediately responded to within 2 minutes or less. When I finally text them I was uncomfortable with this situation and feel this a scam and should I send their check back to the return address or just shred it, I have not heard from them since. I will be shredding this check!
I still have the guy on the hook. I keep making excuses as to why I can't cash the check, forgot it at home, worked late, etc.. I would like someone to catch this guy while he thinks I'm going to do it, maybe he can catch him in the act.
