Strange, isn't it? Anyone can find you in seconds but the mighty U.S. Government can't find its own [***] when protecting its citizens. Someone somewhere is making big money and buying someone off because the technology we can employ would render this null and void. How much for your local representative?
Illegal telemarketer pushing bogus auto warranties. “Hi, this is Heather I’m calling from the Dealer Processing Department regarding your vehicle’s warranty. We sent you a final notice in the mail letting you know that your warranty has expired and this is a final courtesy call before we close the file – would you like to speak to a warranty specialist?”. Calling back just plays a busy signal. This “final notice” has been calling every few days for about the past four months. These same telemarketers have gotten so bad they are even calling 911 centers in Florida with this auto warranty cold call!
A robot told me they sent me a notice in the mail about an expired warranty (they didn't) and asked if I wanted to renew before they "closed" the account (I've never had a car warranty, and my current car is 12 years old). I said "NO" and they disconnected. I don't usually answer unknown callers - but I was curious to see what kind of antics they would be up to.
