They do not leave a voicemail if you don't pick up, but if you call the number, you get a voicemail for Venture Data Call Research, "one of the premiere data research" companies in the business. Despite the fact that they are in my own area code (in fact, the number puts them in a nearby town that I can walk to in about 15 minutes), it says "OUT OF AREA", but at least they don't mask their phone number.
Receive calls from this # several times a week. Don't recognize the # so I do not pick up. When the machine picks up, they hang up. Called again just now, Sunday afternoon.
Well yeah, if you hang up before you say anything we assume that the call didn't connect or that no one was there. Also if you don't answer, we assume we just didn't reach you. It's not difficult people, tell them you want to be on their internal do not call list or even that you don't want to be called again and you will get it! Also there's a link where you can add your own dang number to the list. Here. http://www.venturedata.com/NoCallList.htm Now stop being [***].
To the surveyors who posted here: are you not aware that we are bombarded DAILY with scam artists who break the law just by calling never mind stealing people's information or money? Have you never got one of those robo calls from Rachel offering a reduced interest rate on your credit card? Again and again and again? Then during voting the calls are multiplied by robo calls (which are now illegal) from candidates and none of us are interested in hearing from them but we have no choice! No choice on who calls the phone I pay for,! So when people start swearing at you stop whining and get a real job. We are sick of it! Or were you not able to figure that out on your own,? Duh,
