Has called about 10-15 in a matter of 5 minutes. Talk about harrassing. I told him to remove my number and that if he doesn't, I will file a lawsuit against him. What an [***]
This guy with an Indian accent called me a few times..and i told him that my husband is a detective and if he kept on harrassing me, he will be arrested.
This person, Jerry Ray at ext: 2413, called continuallyg for 2 1/2 hours tying up 5 phones lines in an assisted livng facility because he wanted to collect funds from an employee. I, as the director, explained he needed to stop because if I needed to call 911 that he had all my lines outgoing and incoming tied up and that he had to stop harrassing the business. I let him know my staff are not allowed personal calls while at work...he informed me no one could stop him, and that he would continue to tie up the lines until he spoke to and resolved whatever issue he had. I had the police come to the facility and speak to him on the phone and that did not stop him. I have reported the harrassment calls to the FCC and the state government agency. A lawyer has also been contacted on the employees behalf. He has informed me he will conitnue the calls because there is nothing that could be done to stop him.
This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:
The company I work for has been receiving nonstop phone calls from this number 781-443-7342 asking for me. I never worked at the number they are calling. I did work in that building just not at that number they keep calling. They yell and get nasty with whomever answers. When I called and asked them to stop calling they refused stating they will call that number 60 times until I give them my credit card information or send them some money western union. Simon Hawk is the man I talked too and he is a horrible person. He is callig a medical office and doesn't even care. I told them they are harassing me and to stop but they refuse and only call more.
