Recorded message from "Susan"..... I hung up immediately. Expecting a call from a freight carrier today so needed to answer the phone. The telescammers are busy today, this is the 5th call today from various and assorted telecriminals.
What they might be doing is displaying one that has no connection to the operation in question. There was a time when these operations displayed out of service numbers. But it is not uncommon to see any given number on caller id. What I find most disturbing about this practice of spoofing is that people have been known to return these calls and innocent people could be getting threatened for something they did not do.
The alleged number called earlier in the day. The number displayed a persons name which I will not post in case this operation is using the name of an innocent party. I did not and will return this call since doing so could increase the number of calls.
