rec'd 1st call, no voicemail, called number back, rep said to definitely pick up call next time and follow prompts to get my number off their list. 2nd call 2hrs late asked for Ann Ratilff, not me, got rep verified they had my number but i'm not Ann Ratliff.
When they call me they leave an automated message with the following:
"This is Sun trust Bank calling about a change in the status of the account for XXXX XXXXX. Please call us at 866-667-0533 by Wednesday, March 16. You'll be asked to enter your personal message code XXXXX. Again our number is 866-667-0533 and enter personal message code XXXXX. Thank you from Sun trust Bank "
I X'd out the person's name and message code for privacy reasons. I called 804-319-8494 and spoke with someone to tell them that the person they are asking for is not at my number and the woman very nicely said she would take my number off of the account.
I started to get constant calls from this number a few weeks back. It comes up as Suntrust Morgage on my caller ID, but I never had a mortgage with this bank. I had a checking account which I closed when they announced a check card fee. In the end they reversed the decision to charge the fee, but only after I had closed my account with them.
