Received the same voice mail as everyone else on here from a very demanding voice...I dont owe money to anyone so not sure how these people have my phone number. Thanks for all the feedback on here..I know now to ignore all future phone calls and messages from Mr. Davis and his scam company.
804-415-6006 - This is scam. They know my social, address and even my bank name. They said I would be sued and that a deposition was going on right then and I would be arrested. He would not tell me who I owed or an amount. When I told him to give me the address where the deposition was - that I was going to go defend myself, he hung up on me. I am worried that they know my personal information.
Got the same call... said that I had a law suit against me for a bad check written to a credit card company back in 2012. That they had to send the deposition in by 5 (they called me at 430) to proceed with two felony count charges of bank fraud. They read me my ssn, Date of birth and the last four of my checking account number. They said that if I could pay 1,013.00 that they should be able to stop the charges. They threatened the Washington state attorney general on me. Also had a deposition they read me. Naturally I freaked out. Called my mom to see if I could borrow the money she decided to call them. She didn't end up paying obviously. We did however call out attorney general office. They confirmed it was indeed a scam. Said that if anyone was trying to collect money they would have to provide more details, send letter if asked. This company American litigation services said they sent a certified letter and that it was signed for and if I didn't receive it they are sorry but I still had to pay. I asked for a copy of the signature and they said they didn't have a copy. I also asked if they were a legit company why can't I find anything about them on the internet. He just said they don't have a website. Which is b.s. so I told him to take a flying leap. I did however contact credit bureau and put a fraud alert on my account and called my bank too.
I received a call from this company this am and Madison Stewart was the name of the individual that I spoke with. She stated that I was sent paperwork and that I had not responded to their letter. I told her I have never received any paperwork and that she verified my address but could not say the city and state. She also stated that it could be from a payday loan place. I explain to her that I was not around during the time she noted and that I do not owe anyone. So she told me if she did not hear from me at the end of the day that she had no choice but to contact the county court office. Why is a place in Viriginia calling me and telling me I owe.
same thing happened. Mr.Davis called stating I had incomplete paperwork, and a case number, but never gave me a case number or addressed me.. I was panicking because i didnt know what was going on until i came across this posting. so Thank you.. I did call the number back and leave a message for him to call me again, and still have not received a call
Mr. Davis must be a busy guy. I got pretty much the same call today. I was advised that I committed fraud for entering into a contract and not complying with the terms of that contract. I was told that a criminal complaint was being filed against me for fraud. A couple of years ago, I had started an on-line application for a short term loan and then realized how stupid it was for me to give my personal information to some on-line entity so I backed out of it and never completed it. I was afraid that they were trying to claim that I had entered into a contract to receive money but never followed through with my bank information, thereby committing fraud. I was in a panic. After reading through all of these comments, I am going to assume that it was a scam and I'm okay.
