They will not stop! I have got to the point of screaming at them and they will not stop! They change their numbers too! Why would anyone deal with a company like this?
Got a call from this number stating he needed me to go to my computer so he could link his with mine to enable me to receive a $170 refund. I didn't catch his name but he had a heavy "Indian" accent. When I said I was not comfortable doing that, he hung up.
I had the same experience, got my first name right, but used a generic last name. When I said no, that was not my last name he (American Accent) said he had the wrong number and hung up.
What's interesting is if you search for this number, along with 800notes etc. you find several fake sites claiming to.. "Fight Spam Calls" and if you got a call from this number let them sue for $1500 per call with a little info field for you to put your name and number in.
These are fake sites PEOPLE!! They are connected to this number. Don't be giving your information to fake lawyer sites claiming they will fight this caller for you for no out of pocket expense. It's part of the scam.
I got a call from this number today asking to speak with a colleague of mine. When I told her she had the wrong number she then asked if that colleague worked for the company. I hung up. They are phishing for information!
