They will not stop! I have got to the point of screaming at them and they will not stop! They change their numbers too! Why would anyone deal with a company like this?
A 30-50 voice aged male with a thick South Asian accent called - asked for me by name and inquiring if I was the right individual at company X, the wrong company was provided by them. He stated that he was patching a call in for "Andy Brown" with Omni Enterprises. I asked what this was in reference to - he stated that he was not informed. I told him to patch the call through. After a brief minute, he came back on the line and claimed Andy had taken another call and if it was ok to call back at a later time - told him sure.
The call had one significant signature - a main characteristic was "Push to Talk" which you would hear some static and the speakers voice and then it would go into complete silence. This type of silence could be a recording method of sorts. So if you think about the types of questions and then the type of answer that is solicited in combination - you can begin to identify that they are targeting individuals and specific voice replies from those individuals. This type of solicitation is indicative of phishing schemes. I hope they do call back.
A male called my company asking for an employee. I asked him what it was about and he said "our office". I then asked him what it was about and his response "I can't say" ANYONE who says that is an instant reg flag. I already knew he was a fake caller since he couldn't even say why or where he was calling from. I told him unless he tells me I will not transfer him. Even though the employee is no longer with the company I already knew he was a fake caller. Employee he called for hasn't been at out office for over 3 years.

Actually, when I was getting calls for Michael the caller never told me the name of the company or why they wanted to talk to Michael. As I understand it that is what the law says. The caller can discuss the debt only with the debtor. I discovered the calls were from a car finance company when I googled the number and landed here. Apparently the caller is using outdated information. It could be a scam but it could be legitimately tracking a debtor.
I can't tell for sure if this caller is legitimate or not. But you don't know how to contact the person he is looking for. Tell him that and stop answering his calls.
804-596-1074 (Bowling Green)-calls 3-4 times a day claiming to be Jessica so and so's assistant. Jessica is the Vice President in charge of so and so...The callers are ALWAYS a male and they are either Asian or Indian (accent). At first I kindly requested to be removed from this list. Today, just this moment, I was pushed where no office coordinator should be pushed....I yelled, screamed and demanded to be taken off their ever so important and confidential call list! Whoever this Jessica woman is, she is a pain! haha
