This number is a scam....do not try to do business with any rental properties/homes etc. He tries to make you pay with a credit card over the phone...this guy will try to steal your money....and he threatened my boyfriend when we called him out for scamming him. Thus time he claimed his name was lee....watch out. This is some ISIS [***] if you ask me!! Lol
Pretending to be a home owner.. Lewis (as he said his name was) said the house went from $1,400 to $800 rent due to the fact he is a pastor and doing missionary work and wanting to work with people to get them to live comfortably. Me and my fiance went and viewed the house (via rently.com to get lockbox pin) we liked it and he emailed me a application to fill out. I emailed it back and then I began to research rently.com and came across an actual article dated Feb. 20, 2016 by news 7 where the same exact thing happened to another couple but they actually wired $300 to somewhere in Texas as a deposit and then the guy disappeared off the face of the earth. This so called Lewis guy has an accent (Maybe african). I got in touch with the real property manager and she was just blown away that this was happening. "Lewis" called me back the following day (mind you at this point I'm already on to his game and have talked to the realtor company) he told me that we were approved. I asked how would he get the monies owed and he told me they have a bank account,Tahhh, not on my watch. I then told him I do NOT wish to move forward with the house and that I don't feel comfortable dealing with money and business over the phone. He told me he had other people who were ready to move in and that its ok, reiterated about him being a christian and doing what you feel comfortable doing. If this man would actual just become a damn real estate agent he'd be well off. smdh.
