Just got a v/m on my cell. Don't know who they are or what the hell they are talking about. A bunch of legal-type mumbo-jumbo. The lady leaving the message sounded like she had mush in her mouth. Will block future calls. What the heck??
Received a call last week stating my active duty son was facing 2 charges of fraud & 1 charge of bogus check for an unpaid "payday loan" in 2011 if they didn't receive $1060-$2500. They ask if I would help in order to keep them from contacting his commander & serving arrest papers to his base. They had lots of his information....family, old address association, email addresses. The number showed up on my caller ID multiple times later that day, sometimes 4 times in 1 minute. I contacted my son & this debt never happened. My son just completed extensive background checks including any & all debts for his military security clearance. I received a call again today (restricted number) & told the guy it's a scam, the debt does not exist & DO NOT CALL ME BACK. So far no call back.
Actually called from 866-367-2440 stating that after multiple attempts that they will have to mark my account as default unless I call this number. Wouldn't give business name... Left two messages on my cell and one on my work phone. Have blocked this number, but am sick of these low-life scums that have nothing better to do than harass people.
