Just FYI, no REAL process server is going to call you in advance because you could simply avoid them. They only get paid if they ACTUALLY serve you so claiming you not being available would be "refusal of service" is bull manure. Your best bet is to block and ignore their calls.
Received a call on cell and home phone stating they were an independant process server and would be serving me at my home or place of employ on Friday from 3-5, and if I'm not there, it's a refusal of service and the process would go on without me. Call 832-251-7289 to talk to the "Plaintiff". This was from a call center, as I could hear someone talking in the background. It's the same old script used for YEARS. And BOGUS
I'm sick of these calls as well and I wish they would stop. I don't know what it will take to end these ponsie schemes because they are absolutely unacceptable
Wow, I haven't had one of these in over a year! I told the girl, you are so convincing, just too bad I know it's a scam. She was so low key, non-confrontational, non-argumentative, and so nice. I told her, love the change in tactics! Ended the conversation with, lady, my God grant mercy upon your soul.
Just received the same message funny I told them them talk to my lawyer and gave them a number they was so mad... I told them have a wonderful day I don't do business over the phone
