I was expecting a call so I answered my cell. The woman (or computer) took a long pause before she said "This is Linda from the warrantee department, can you hear me?" at which point I hung up and blocked the number.
Sorry Megan, but the callers don't read these posts and this service is just a community to let you see, based on others' comments, who might be calling you before you pick up a call from a number you don't recognize. Generally the callers documented on these forums are operating illegally and have no intention of adhering to the Do Not Call list-related regulations.
This was someone calling trying to tell me that I qualified for a free trip to Orlando and also for a cruise to the Bahamas, or some other tropical place. I told them to shove it since I wasn't going anywhere where Zika was. Then I blocked the number.
