Who called from 8324081079

I'm trying to sell my car on cars.com and I have gotten 5 texts saying the same thing its hard to trust anyone these days,but if I'm trying to make money by selling anything,I'm not giving up nothing.they use text only numbers,so be aware.if they can't bring you the cash don't send anything.

I have also received these bogus ripoffs! One person posing as a seargent asa if I am dumb to submit to Mr Seargent scammer!

I just got 2 different text messages from one 1-720-408-0680, "Interested in ur Bike on Cycletrader..do get back to [email protected] with condition and firm price..TY" Which is weird cuz the condition and price is on the website and I got a 2nd one the next morning from 1-714-455-4423, "A potential buyer is intersted in the (my bike) you have listed for sale. Please reply to the buyer directly with information in a timely manner AT [email protected]". That one makes it seem like it is from CycleTrader when I have no emails from them. It screamed scam and I found this page that just confirms what I was suspecting with these weird texts. Thanks everyone, so thought I would also share.

I experienced the same thing this morning from phone number 714-592-7253. I received the following message; "A potential buyer is intersted in the (my car) you have listed for sale. Please reply to the buyer directly with information in a timely manner AT [email protected]" Obviously a scam.  The initial response to me was: I am very glad to read from you directly. My name is Michael, an oceanographer from BP Exploration & Production.
It's my pleasure to contact you in regards to your Ad you posted for sale. Though, your selling price seem pretty fair enough, but I'd like to ensure it's in good condition, cos am new to buying online. I won't be able to take a proper inspection at it myself nor make calls due to my current location(offshore) & work schedule.
