I was hacked by this Gaxome, WWW.GAXOME.CO 03-20 856-575-1650 NJ 7764 in March for $7. something. Then again in June WWW.PLAYSITEWORLD. 06-01 707-846-4044 or $7. something. Bank with BB&T. Coincidentally, my baby sitter also banks with them and was hit the same weeks that I was, or within weeks. How many BB&T customers have been hacked that don't even notice these smaller amounts? Regardless, it sounds like the bank itself has been hacked. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth...OH, and this makes my account being hacked THREE times from Oct 11- Jun 12!! The first time was an ACH transaction for a penny....which, I am sure that the hackers would come back and try to get more $ from me, had I not noticed. BB&T refunds the money, has you fill out all this paperwork and they still can't get the hackers. They now ask you to have the paperwork notarized (the first two times for me, I was not asked to do so)....so I just went into a branch and had an employee there do it. Very aggrivating! I wish that they would fix this and catcht eh SOB's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, this is too weird! I just checked my bank account, and there was a charge of $9.21 due to come out of my account today from this company. I immediately contacted my bank. My bank said that someone has gotten access to my account through my debit card. I shouldn't have listened to my sister! She told me to use my bank card as a debit so the money will come out of my account right away, because I usually used my card as a credit.
I suggest we get serious and help each other so we can get some shared info to the banks.. What bank card do you have. What recent place online did you use your account. Our Visa was USBank and we recently setup online with Amazon and Pandora to name a few.
I too got hit by this for 10.97... jokes on them though, the charge didnt make it past pending. I recenlty made a few large purchases for myself and thankfully my bank (PNC Bank) will call after a certain amount has been charged, no matter what. If my bank didn't call to let me know about the several large purchases (that I made) I wouldn't have noticed the 10.97 from Gaxome.co It sucks that this happens but it is comforting to know that I'm not the only one, this company needs to be shut down asap.
As for figuring out how they could have retrieved my info is beyond me, I use my Visa card for a number of online payments including netflix, xbox, several online shopping sites (although I havent purchased anything in a while) it's tough to say.
Just reported it to my cc. They took $9.82. Crazy. There has to be a way to track where all this money is going . . . I hope they catch the slime and throw their butts in jail (instead of offering them a job). We told our cc company. We'll see what happens.
