Who called from 8566291500

Jack
So I get this call from a telemarketing scumbag for the RI Police Defense Foundation asking me for a donation and after I tell him, no, no ,no, he acts like I did not say, no, no, no and then asks me for my credit card number to process my donation and says it is so the police can do charity faster so I ask him, why would the police on the one hand tell me not to give my credit card number over the phone and then call me and ask me in the name of their charity to go against everything they have ever said, so I did a little research on the this group and it turns out they hired a professional fundraiser that is going to keep like 90% of the 100 bucks he wanted. So anyway, here it is, they have been sued more times and by more people then probably any group of companies in the history of the world. So yeah, I am going to give these clowns my credit card number. Remember everyone, dont listen to the guy on the phone, listen to what the cops have always told you and dont give in, if you want to give to a cop, find a cop and ask him for the address to the charity directly. Dont make these people rich.

Data Communications Inc former company of Damian Muziani

Now the question here is how has Marc Rosenberg been able to work for Damian Muziani for 11 years at a company that has only been incorporated since 2009 and the answer is simple if you look at the photos. The photos are of the office space that Damian Muziani runs his company out of and in the first picture you can clearly see 2 signs with the letters CSI on them and CSI stands for Community Support Inc the company that was sued by over 30 Attorney Generals around the country in 2009 during Operation False Charity. Community Support Inc was also banned from soliciting in the states of Iowa and Oregon from fraudulent practices.

The phone number 856-629-1500 at the bottom of the sign in the second picture leads back to Data Communications Inc, Damian Muziani’s name for his former company.

Now, Operation False Charity was the largest charity fraud sweep in the history of the United States by the FTC and pretty much every Attorney General and Secretary of State in the country. The press release by the FTC can be found here. http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/05/charityfraud.shtm Operation False Charity happened in May of 2009 and Damian Muziani changed the name of his company in September of 2009, 4 months later, but kept all the same contracts.

Community Supports involvment in fraudulent fundraising practices can be found  here in Louisiana http://www.ag.state.la.us/Article.aspx?articleID=299&catID=0&printer=1

A quote about CSI from the Louisiana Attorney General regarding the company Damian Muziani through Data Communications Inc was a part of.

“Also, as part of Operation False Charity, Louisiana has joined with 30 other states in enforcing state disclosure laws against a particular professional solicitor/telemarketer, Community Support, Inc. (“CSI”). CSI solicits charitable donations from consumers in nearly every state on behalf of over 35 non-profit organizations.

The multi-state investigation suggests that CSI has engaged in a pattern of consistently violating state disclosure laws in at least 23 ways spread over 300 instances, in every state, for each of its charitable clients. For instance, CSI appears to have often: 1) misrepresented how much of the funds actually go to the charity, 2) misrepresented what would be spent in the call recipient’s local community, 3) harassed call recipients, 4) its callers falsely claimed to be law enforcement or veterans, 5) falsely claimed a person had made a pledge when they had not.”

This list just goes on and on of States that have sued Community Support Inc that Damian Muziani was so proud to display on the stairs leading up to the front door of the office where some of the calls referenced in these lawsuits originated. Outreach Calling is just another incarnation of Community Support Inc and Damian Muziani knows it but would rather forget that he helped cause Community Support Inc to get sued by all these states and the Federal Trade Commission.

Damian Muziani thinks that him and Greg Hertling of Residential Calling Inc, formerly a manager (http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1454&da ... pg=2333,5826425) of Civic Development Group (http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2010/03/cdg.shtm sued and forced to turn over 18.8 million fraudulently solicited) employed by David Keezer and Scott and Brian Pasch and currently subcontracting to Damian Muziani and Outreach Calling Inc out in West Virginia  and Mark Gelvan at, and get this name, CSI Outsource 3000 can just simply walk away from all these lawsuits about fraudulent fundraising practices and continue on with business as usual. And business as usual is more fraudulent pitches. This record of past behavior is not something that Marc Rosenberg should be bragging about below.
This lawsuit by the New York Attorney General says that Mark Gelvan, the owner of CSI Outsouce 3000 runs Outreach Calling Inc, http://www.ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/pres ... 20Complaint.pdf and CSI Outsource 3000 is where Tom Berkenbush and Bill English now work after closing Community Support Inc. It is just one big, according the the lawsuits and AG’s happy family of scams.

According to this article http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/stories/2002/10/07/daily24.html?page=all,

Quote from the article

“The lawsuit against All-Pro contends that the script used by the fundraiser’s employees pretended the callers were New York state troopers and did not identify them as paid solicitors. Donors were allegedly told that the money would be used for anti-drug and alcohol presentations and for an emergency fund that would benefit charitable organizations, widows and orphans of the group’s members and active state troopers.All-Pro staged a total of 30 educational anti-drug programs in only nine New York counties, including Albany and Rensselaer, between 1995 and 2001, according to the Attorney General’s office. The emergency fund did not exist, the lawsuit alleges. The fundraiser “took cynical advantage of New Yorkers’ desire to support law enforcement,” Spitzer said.”And this is on top, for Mark Gelvan, according to the same article “In 1996 All-Pro agreed to pay $30,000 in a settlement with former Attorney General Dennis Vacco, and agreed to stop deceptive fund raising practices.” So, in a few years, people, and when I say people, I mean our friends at the Attorney General’s offices, the FTC, charities watchdogs and donors have called this group of so called “professional fundraisers” conartists for almost 20 years and nobody says the same things about you for 20 years and have it not be true.

If that were the case, these people, meaning Damian Muziani, Greg Hertling, Mark Gelvan, Tom Berkenbush, Bill English, David Keezer, Scott Pasch, Brian Pasch would have started suing the AG’s and not one single one of them has every done anything but cower in a corner and take their “cost of doing business” lawsuits and pay their fines and then go right back to the do the exact same thing they always have done. Lie to donors and commit crimes they get other people blamed for.
So the moral of this story is Damian Muziani, when you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas, or in your case, dozens and dozens of lawsuits.
