This was "Shawn" in what sounded like a very busy call center, likely in Bangalor, making an illegal call in violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. I agreed with him that I definitely need new windows and would probably spend about $5k on them. He will pass this information (bogus, of course...) to the contracting companies who are employing him as an off-shore sales "aggregator" - their way of skirting the NDNCR. When the contractors call, I'll waste as much of their time as possible, giving them more bogus info, asking questions, and generally trying to cost them time and money. At some point, I'll let them know that they have been PUNKED, and that they should let their sales department know that using "Shawn" and his like is definitely not a smart business move...
I get calls from this number all times of the day. up to 8:55 PM at night and before 9: AM in the morning. they are driving me crazy. I don't know the person's name that's calling,
I told the caller that I didn't need his services and tha I am on the no-call list. He replied, "and you're a f-----g [***]. F--k off." and disconnected.
This is not the first call Imgot from them. I think they call at least once a day, sometimes twice. Each time I answer their calls Imtell,them Imdon't Ned heir services and there is no way my manner of speaking could be thought rid.
