I got repeated calls from this number, all hang ups on the machine. Today I picked it up and it was a political pollster, the rudest I've ever encountered. After fielding about five minutes of questions the questioning turned incredibly one-sided against a Democratic candidate. When I asked them why the "poll" was biased they just kept talking, and ignored my request to stop.
annoyed upstate NY'er I did just that mine is called the Sentry got it off of Amazon not too expensive works great so far I have 202 blocked numbers soon to be 204 and no I do not work for them someone on one of these forums mentioned it and I looked it up Hardly ever get more than 2-3 calls a week now and there is a accept list for your friends and family and a reject list Believe me you will probably have more rejects depending on your friends and family ie I have 64 accepts Just FYI I know how annoying these callers are and they can be totally obnoxious and rude.
Refer to Tamianth's post and possibly try blocking the number. If you're on a landline, maybe try turning off the ringer or disconnecting the line if you can do it.
