I got repeated calls from this number, all hang ups on the machine. Today I picked it up and it was a political pollster, the rudest I've ever encountered. After fielding about five minutes of questions the questioning turned incredibly one-sided against a Democratic candidate. When I asked them why the "poll" was biased they just kept talking, and ignored my request to stop.
They called 3 times on a Sunday. I no longer can answer any phone calls unless I see that it is a person I know.
It should be a crime to steal my phone like this because that's what it is. I pay a lot of money to have a phone that I hardly use because everytime I make an outgoing call, I get these robos calling in so they are not only stealing my phone but they seem to be able to monitor what we are doing
I understand your frustration. We stay connected to the internet during the day just to block these spammers. We would ditch our landline in a NY minute if we did not need it to access the internet. The only problem is---AT&T, who is the sole telecommunications provider in our area does not provide DSL and our satelitte TV provider wants the equvalent of a mortgage payment to install it. We would move---but, we can't afford to do that, either. So, there you go.
