its all alright, they are scammers, ive been having some fun with it. if you call them like 200 times a day, they will eventually leave you alone. you just have to [***] with them more than they [***] with you. ive pretended to be interested in him, asking him all kinda [***]. telling him his voice is sexy. i told him hes my new bf and if he ever leaves me, id [***] kill him :D you just have to scare him more than he scares you :D he wont do [***] to you, i promise. just keep [***] with them ahahhaah eventually they will either turn off the number and get a new one..thats the fun part, when they call back from a different number..you just continue to call that one..the point is, they cant do [***] and why not have fun with it????
received a call from a Carlos William at work threatening me and my supervisor telling me that I was in a big legal matter, when I asked what was the matter he told me he couldnt disclose it. I then told him to hold I was going to conference the call in with the police dept... he then got upset and called me a MF...
I'm glad I googled this number and it bothered me. So, when I saw these posts, I knew it was phony! Well, I have to tell what happened to me. Well, it started from last Thursday, 9-16-10 to yesterday, 9-23-10, I been receiving phone message calls from this same phone number to my home number and work number between 8:30a to 11:30a - time varies). Including my cousin told me he also received a recording from this same person, leaving a message for me to call him. Weird, how would he get my home/work numbers and my cousin's home number??? Caller is a male individual has a heavy, loud foreign accent and the name he gave, is a Dexter Raymond from ACS-Litigation of New York. States he has obtained my name and SSN number and said he's calling me about a potential lawsuit against me and I need to contact im before it happens. And then comments, along the lines of ..."I hope you are doing well, for now"...sure sounds like a threat! Then get this, by blocking a phone I used another phone to call the number back (*67), the phone call goes thru and no one answers...all I heard was a foreign recording of a woman's voice, sounded oriental and at no time, does anyone answer the phone as the recording repeats itself and no English is spoken....so from there, I knew it was fraudalent use and a scam and just hung up the phone! BEWARE!!! After that, I never called again. There should be a way to block this individual from calling anyone else. Sure glad, I never spoke to the individual and now will need to let my family, relatives and co-workers know as future reference.
This guy calls with a thick indian accent, says his name is Dexter Wayne and he is calling from a company in New York (ACS) with an important legal matter. They call between 1 and 4 times a day. The number on caller ID is 0000.
Called from Justin Hammer. Said he would throw me under the bars himself. he was coming to arrest me for some defaulted bill.
He refused to explain, saying the judge would explain it from jail.
I said there are no Debtor Prisons in the USA. And that the law states he must send the information to me in written form.
He said he did not, he was an OFFICER and he knew better.
I said that I would inform my local police about an officer calling me, and that I was recording the call. He hung up.
